We recommend booking 2-4 weeks in advance for most events. For weddings and large corporate events (100+ guests), we suggest 4-8 weeks to ensure availability and allow time for menu planning and tastings. That said, we do our best to accommodate last-minute requests — call us at (646) 882-0156 and we'll check availability.
We offer both options. Our drop-off catering includes beautifully arranged sushi and sashimi platters delivered directly to your venue — perfect for office lunches and casual gatherings. Our full-service on-site catering includes a professional sushi chef, complete setup, live preparation, and cleanup — ideal for weddings, corporate events, and upscale private parties.
A live sushi station features one or more professional sushi chefs preparing fresh sushi right in front of your guests. We bring a complete setup — cutting boards, knives, the freshest fish, rice, and all accompaniments. Guests can watch the artistry unfold, request custom rolls, and interact with the chef. It's an engaging, interactive experience that becomes the highlight of any event.
Absolutely. We offer a wide range of dietary accommodations including vegetarian rolls (avocado, cucumber, sweet potato tempura, asparagus), vegan options, gluten-free sushi with tamari sauce, and nut-free preparations. We take allergies seriously and can accommodate shellfish, soy, and other common allergens. Simply let us know your guests' needs when booking and we'll customize every detail.
Our platter delivery service has no strict minimum — we can prepare elegant platters for as few as 10 guests. For on-site chef and live station packages, we typically require a minimum of 20 guests to ensure the best experience and value. For intimate private dinners under 20, we offer our omakase catering experience with a dedicated chef.
We serve all five boroughs of New York City — Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island — as well as Long Island (including the Hamptons) and Northern New Jersey. Travel fees may apply for locations outside our standard service area.
Pricing is based on three main factors: number of guests, menu selections (standard vs. premium ingredients), and service style (drop-off platters vs. full-service with live chef). Drop-off platter packages start at a per-person rate, while live station and on-site chef packages include the chef, all equipment, setup, service, and cleanup. We provide transparent, itemized quotes with no hidden fees. Request a free quote to get started.
Yes — customization is one of our specialties. You can choose from our signature rolls, request specific types of fish (salmon, tuna, yellowtail, eel, etc.), add premium items like uni, ikura, otoro, or A5 wagyu, or create a fully bespoke omakase experience. We'll work with you to design a menu that fits your event's theme, your guests' preferences, and your budget.
Yes. Our full-service catering packages include one or more professional sushi chefs depending on guest count. For larger events (100+ guests), we can provide additional chefs and service staff to ensure smooth, timely service. All staff arrive early for setup, maintain a professional and engaging presence throughout the event, and handle complete cleanup afterward.
We have extensive experience with wedding sushi catering and work closely with couples and wedding planners to create a seamless experience. This includes optional menu tastings before the wedding, timeline coordination with your planner and venue, elegant presentation that complements your decor, and professional service from cocktail hour through reception. We've catered weddings from intimate 30-person celebrations to grand 500-guest affairs.
Yes. Full setup and cleanup are included with all on-site and live station catering packages. Our team arrives 60-90 minutes before service to set up the station, arrange all equipment and ingredients, and ensure everything is perfect. After the event, we pack up all equipment and supplies and leave your venue clean. You don't need to worry about a thing.
We provide everything needed for the sushi experience — professional preparation stations, cutting boards, knives, all ingredients, serving platters (bamboo, ceramic, or slate), chopsticks, soy sauce dishes, wasabi, pickled ginger, napkins, and any decorative elements. For live stations, we also bring the chef's workspace and display setup. You don't need to supply anything — just the venue and the guests.
Yes. Our drop-off platter service is one of our most popular options. We prepare and deliver beautifully arranged sushi and sashimi platters directly to your location. Each platter includes a curated assortment of nigiri, maki rolls, and sashimi with all condiments. This is a great choice for office lunches, house parties, holiday gatherings, and events where you want premium sushi without full-service catering.
Quality is our top priority. We source our fish from the same premium suppliers used by New York City's top sushi restaurants, including trusted purveyors at the Fulton Fish Market. All fish is sushi-grade and selected daily for peak freshness. Our rice is premium Japanese short-grain, seasoned with our house-made vinegar blend. Every ingredient — from nori to wasabi — is carefully selected for authenticity and quality.
We understand that plans change. Cancellations made 7 or more days before the event receive a full refund of any deposit. Cancellations within 3-7 days receive a 50% refund. Within 72 hours, the deposit is non-refundable due to ingredient procurement and scheduling. Rescheduling is always free when done 48+ hours in advance, subject to availability. We're flexible and will always work with you to find a solution.
